About Us

Mission Statement

As the local transportation consortium, Tri-Board Student Transportation Services is responsible for safe, secure, efficient transportation to our school communities using one joint Transportation Policy created by our Member School Board. We work closely with our local schools and bus operators to improve service while adhering to board policy and procedures. Tri-Board is committed to transporting eligible riders to enable student success.


  1.  Algonquin & Lakeshore Catholic District School Board
  2.  Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board
  3.  Limestone District School Board


Tri-Board does not own any school buses or employ drivers/monitors. Contracted local school bus companies are governed by one Service Agreement to ensure all eligible students are transported safely, efficiently, and equitably across our ~16,000 square KM service area. Cancellations & Delays


Transportation Application Deadline for 2024-2025 is August 11

If your student currently has school bus transportation and there is no change to their school or address in September you do not need to take any action or reapply. Current school bus transportation will remain in place unless you are contacted directly by Tri-Board Student Transportation.  However, if you have a student for the 2024-25 school year that:
