Information for New Riders & Their Families

The First-Time Rider Program offers a chance for new riders and their families to ride a bus and learn about basic safety at their school’s orientation session in the spring/summer before they start school in the fall.

Busing is a privilege requiring a certain level of safety. Click here to read the full list of bus rules for riders and their families.

Families must choose a method of receiving Bus Status Alerts for when the bus is cancelled or delayed.

All School Bus and Taxi Transportation Canceled - February 28

Due to poor road conditions and continued inclement weather all school bus and taxi transportation is cancelled in the Tri-Board Student Transportation Services jurisdiction. The schools will remain open however any students driven to school by parents or guardians will need to be picked up at the end of the day. This decision affects students with the:
