School registration and applying for the school bus are separate processes. The submission deadline to have transportation set up for the first day of the 2025-2026 school year is August 6, 2025.

 We strongly encourage families to apply online as soon as possible. Families need to submit applications for students that are:

• attending school for the first time (including Kindergarten students),

• changing schools (including elementary students transitioning into a secondary school), or

• changing/adding pick-up/drop-off addresses.

Select the start date of September 2025 to ensure current transportation is not removed. If there is no change to school or address expected for September, families do not need to reapply. Each student must be assigned to the bus to be able to ride. This means younger siblings of current riders need to have an application submitted.

 To be eligible for transportation under policy, an address must meet the Minimum Distance Requirement from the school and be within the school’s attendance boundary. Use the Eligibility Tool to determine if an address is eligible before applying.

Eligible students are guaranteed transportation for the first day of school in September if they apply by August 6, 2025. Applications submitted after August 6th will be processed with a start date in mid September, at the earliest.

Transportation will be finalized and available through the Student Portal in late August. Families must create an account and add their student in order to view their transportation details.
