First Time Rider Program – A Safety Program for Students and Parents/Guardians

The First Time Rider Program is an interactive opportunity for parents/guardians and students to become familiar with a school bus and the safety rules and features that keep students safe on the bus.

The focus of the session is to familiarize parents/guardians and students with the following bus safety procedures:

-how to cross the road safely;

-getting on and off the bus safely;

-bus rules and proper behaviour on the bus

-how to exit the bus in the event of an emergency

The program also includes a video reinforcing the safety rules as well as handouts for the students and parents/guardians.

April 16 2018 - All Buses and Taxis Cancelled in Tri-Board

Due to inclement weather and poor road conditions all school bus and taxi transportation is cancelled in the Tri-Board Student Transportation Services jurisdiction. The schools will remain open however any students driven to school by parents or guardians will need to be picked up at the end of the day. This decision affects students with the:
